PRPS a pioneer in the high end Japanese denim market in America returns to Xile this season with a fresh new collection. The brand originally stocked in Xile between 2007 and 2014, and now returns with a bang. Founded in 2002 by New York based Donwan Harrel, with PRPS standing for ‘purpose’, these jeans have been constructed for an easy to wear, practical yet premium look.
The brand was known for manufacturing functional denim utilised as work wear, before denim became more fashion focused. Utilising Zimbabwean cotton, the strongest cotton in the world, PRPS creates a premium denim that is all about the finer details. From using original looms dating back to the 1960s, to the purple tab on the back pocket, different colored buttons on the fly, as well as the purple line selvage. These features give the jeans a luxurious look and feel, yet the premium denim is both durable and comfortable.
In order to cater to increased demands PRPS brought out their PRPS Goods and co. The lifestyle collection has a serious selection of items that promise to be well made study and suitable for any adventure. The collection, influenced by the spirit and craft of the original denim pioneers, spans from jeans to t-shirts to hoodies, utilizing innovating techniques throughout the range.
