The French know a thing or two about style and one of the most iconic Parisian brands is now available In-store and Online at Xile. Since 1965 K-Way have been producing lightweight and waterproof pac-a-macs in a range of bold colours and silhouettes perfect for tackling the weather in style. After developing a loyal following in the seventies and eighties the brand has seen something of a resurgence in the past decade and is now a byword for French style.
The first K-Way jacket was created in Paris in 1965, constructed from a lightweight, windproof and waterproof Nylon. The jacket was unique due to its ability to be packed into its own pocket, creating the first Pac-A-Mac. In the 1970’s the brand grew massively and became one of the most recognisable logos in central Europe, K-Way jackets could be seen sported by some of the biggest alpine ski teams around. The brand spread across Europe in the following years and was even added to the French and Italian dictionary in 1979 cementing its place as a cultural phenomenon. Recent years have seen K-Way team up with some of the biggest names in menswear fashion including Marc Jacobs, APC and Dsquared2.
