After an extended hiatus BOY London returns to Xile Clothing with a bold collection perfect for providing your wardrobe with a streetwear inspired upgrade. One of the biggest names in British fashion throughout the eighties and nineties the brand is back in Xile bringing some signature styles with a modern twist, including t-shirts, sweats and hoodies.
BOY London was at the forefront of some of the biggest subcultures in the 80’s and 90’s including the Punk scene and New Romantics. The story of BOY goes back to 1976 when Stephane Rayner opened the brands first store on Kings Road, just a stone's throw away from Malcolm Mclaren’s iconic SEX boutique. BOY London as a brand exploded and became one of the must have labels in London, the brand was also known for their club nights and fashion shows which attracted the who’s who of London. As the New Romantic scene faded the BOY style was adopted by the Acid House crowd and the Ibiza Movement in the early nineties. The brand struggled with the size of their success and BOY ended production in the mid nineties.
In 2007 BOY returned thanks to popular demand and the brand continues to be at the heart of British subculture. The new store in London acts as a shape shifting whirlwind of basement parties, living art installations and design studios.
