Adidas Los Angeles
It's a little over 30 years now since Adidas first released their ode to the city of angels, the Adidas Los Angeles trainer, which became a worldwide blockbuster in 1984 after the L.A. Olympic games. For over 10 years now the Los Angeles trainer has been in the Adidas catalogue and has been produced with the same nylon, rubber and nubuck until 1989 when 'L.A. Trainer' was added to the lower stripe.
Now, after much anticipation within the sneaker community a brand new Los Angeles has been released and we have our hands on three colourways which can be found in-store or online, click here to check them out.
Adidas Tubular Primeknit
One of this year's release highlights by the German trainer giants has to be the Tubular Primeknit. This crepe is truly a display of what Adidas do best as they throw together a combination of new age trainer technology, next level innovation and sneaker architecture that has Yoji Yamamoto written all over it.
The trainer is constructed with a prime knit mesh upper and a classic Tubular outsole. The 'black carbon' mesh is contrasted perfectly by the white midsole alongside Adidas branding on the tongue and heel.
This kick is certainly one for the sneakerheads and we expect to see it disappear of our shelves quickly, so don't hold up on copping a pair from our store. Click here to see our collection online.
Y-3 QASA High
One of our all time favourite collaborations, Adidas and Japansese master designer Yohji Yamamoto A.K.A. Y-3, is back with something very special!
Y-3 remain ahead of the game with their innovative approach to design, materials and forward thinking ideas. A combination of these elements and the constant reinvention of athletic staples is what really sets Y-3 apart from the rest of the contemporary sneaker collaborators. Their new Qasa High, available in our stores and online, is a perfect example of this.
The Qasa High is certainly a Y-3 and Xile favourite as it plays with traditional detailing, shape, style and comfort. The kick is crafted with leather detailing, a distinctive off-white rubber sole, neoprene uppers and an eye catching red/black colourway.
Again, this is another trainer that is not to be missed. Click here to see our collection online.
