While the world appears to be in turmoil around us there is one issue which everyone can agree on, Pharrell Williams is a pretty good guy. Not only is the man ageless, Pharrell has remained one of the biggest names in music for over a decade and in recent years he has had a finger in every fashion pie in sight. You would imagine that in amongst being co-founder of streetwear giants Billionaire Boys Club and being co-owner of Dutch denim masters G-Star Raw he would find little time in his diary for high profile footwear collaborations. Instead Pharrell has pulled it out of the bag again with the release of the much hyped Adidas Tennis HU x Pharrell Williams which drop at Xile on the 10th August. We’ve taken a closer look at the latest release below and you will be able to pick up a pair with Free UK Delivery from 00:01 - 10/8/17.
Pharrell Williams latest collaboration with adidas sees the Hip Hop mogul create what has been described as a ‘modern court classic’ by taking inspiration from classic adidas silhouettes such as the Stan Smith to create a future proof style. The HU collection is designed to celebrate individuality and Human interaction and this thread runs throughout the entire collaboration. Designed with a sock like fit for ultimate comfort the uppers of the Tennis HU are constructed from a breathable mesh making these the ideal Summer style. In a pastel colourway the Tennis HU have a grid patterned EVA Midsole which adds a touch of uniformity to the style and the iconic three stripe detailing has been reworked with a subtle stitch pattern detail. To complete the look there are pops of colour to the tongue, heel panel and the trainers unique lacing system. Pharrell Williams HU branding is evident on the tongue and the Equal branding sits proudly on the heel panel to finish the modern, iconic style.
