Edwin Jeans Fit Guide

Choose your perfect cut from the Japanese Denim brand

21.06.17

With a brand history stretching back to 1947 Edwin are a staple in the denim landscape and have become one of the most established and respected Denim manufacturers around. The company began life in 1947 when a Tokyo resident, Mr. Tsunemi, began importing US denims into Japan where they had previously been unavailable. As the brand grew they moved into producing their own Edwin Jeans and came to worldwide prominence in the 1980’s with the introduction of the stonewashing technique which has now become commonplace in denim manufacturing. In recent years the Edwin brand has focused on the European market and produces a full collection inspired not only by their Japanese homeland but also pushes the boundaries of contemporary menswear. Edwin Jeans remain the jewel in the brands crown and we’ve taken a closer look at what you can expect from the brand in our Edwin Jeans fit guide. One of the newest Edwin fits it the brands ED-45 which was introduced to the range last year. The new style has been described by Edwin as a more exaggerated version of the ever popular ED-55 denim. Edwin ED-80

The slimmest fit in our Edwin collection is the brands ED-80 Denim. Another fan favourite the ED-80 is the perfect contemporary denim and can smarten up any look in an instant. Not a super skinny denim this is a modern slim fit with a slightly tapered leg and mid rise. A stand out from the recent collection is the red listed selvedge ED-80 in an unwashed finish. Perfect for wearing in from Raw the red selvedge detailing allows for a small turn up to provide the finishing touch to your look.
