Festival Fashion Guide

As the mud dries on another epic Glastonbury we're reliving the highlights of an amazing weekend. Festival organiser Michael Eavis was criticised in the run up to this year's Glasto for booking heavy metal legends Metallica alongside manufactured pop acts and country legend Dolly Parton. Despite the critics concerns, this was a great line-up with highlights including Kasabian's set to close the festival, Metallica bringing metal to the masses and Rudimental winning an army of new followers with hit “Not Giving In” before being forced off the stage by lightning.

The festival bandwagon makes it's way to Scotland this weekend with TITP taking over the sleepy fields of Balado for the last time before moving to a new venue in 2015. Headline acts at the festival include Pharrell, The Arctic Monkeys and Chvrches. If you're planning to attend check out our guide to the ultimate in festival chic.

Make A Statement

Make sure your mates can spot you in the crowd with this selection of bold printed shirts and tees. These eye-catching designs are ideal festival wear – the bold and bright patterns catch the eye and you'll struggle to spot spills and stains after a hard day's partying.

We've selected a killer flamingo print from Weekend Offender that makes a bold style statement. If you want a more placid print then check out the Selleck palm tree print from Luke or alternatively rock the palm trend with the the v-necked palm tee from G-Star available in navy and off white.

Sunnies Are A Must

No matter what the weather, sunglasses are an absolute festival essential. Three days of non-stop partying will leave you bleary eyed and a cool pair of shades is a must. You'll thank us for this advice when you come face to face with a warm can of cider at 11am after minimal sleep! You're in luck – we've got a selection of stylish Carrera shades in the sale with prices from £40 – click here to shop the collection.

Wax It Up

No festival wardrobe is complete without a classic wax jacket. Breathable in hot weather and waterproof when it rains, these hard wearing jackets will stand up to the mud, sweat and tears that any festival will produce! Barbour have a selection of versatile waxed jackets that look great teamed with denims or shorts. This year we're going with the Dept B Commander jacket – a limited edition waxed sports jacket based on Daniel Craig's iconic James Bond Skyfall jacket.
