BROOKLYN WE GO HARD

14.03.14

Hot French label “Brooklyn We Go Hard” (BWGH) has drawn influence from surf culture in its S/S 2014 “Hermosa” collection. Named after the surfing hotspot in LA, the Hermosa collection references surf styled Americana from California to Hawaii. This luxe European brand made a big impact in its first season at Xile last year, and we expect big things going forward.

The brand has repeated their light gauge knits from last season with textured stitch-on branding in complementary colours. These classic sweats have a unique composition (50% cotton/50% wool) and are quickly becoming a staple item for BWGH; this season we have options in salmon pink, mustard, navy and grey. They have also created new “Born To Ride” sweats with fresh branding – these limited edition sweats are available in navy or grey and should be snapped up early as we have bought limited numbers in each colour.

The surf look is completed by a pair of bold shirts each featuring Hawaiian floral print detailing. The first is the base shirt; featuring an open baseball neck with floral trim, this 100% cotton shirt is a quality piece of summer styling that will improve any summer suitcase. The second Hawaiian shirt is the “Koh” – a more traditional short sleeved shirt in navy with a bold all-over pattern.

With a good selection of stylish summer wear already available at www.xileclothing.com we’re looking forward to short sleeved t-shirts dropping later in the month. In the meantime you can shop the BWGH collection…
