Adidas Tobacco Collection

10.02.14

Tobacco is generally frowned upon these days but Adidas have re-issued a smoking hot classic style that bucks the trend. There’s nothing dog-ended about these vintage sneaks; first issued in 1972 the Tobacco sneaker has become a cult classic over the years thanks to a number of fantastic colourways and fabrics.

For Spring ’14 Adidas present this classic style in a premium brushed suede. Staying true to the original silhouette the sneaks are slimline with a simple design packed full of subtle detailing. From the zig-zag cut suede stripes to the leather lined collar and subtle gum sole these trainers are a must have item. Produced in limited numbers these original colourways demand attention; for subtle vintage styling there is an off grey aluminium finish or a classic bark brown. If you prefer a summer colourway then opt for the soft red finish or the Argentinian blue – these have a subtle pastel wash that works well in the rougher brushed suede.
