Born out the late eighties denim renaissance Xile clothing
was originally a single (bricks & mortar) store in Edinburgh. Over time
the store came to be regarded as one of Britain's leading independent fashion
stores, specializing in cutting edge labels that other stores just couldn't
produce. This led to the store evolving into four distinctive fashion outlets:
Xile Clothing has stood proudly alone on the
high street of Edinburgh since owner, Patrick O'Flaherty, laid the
foundations in 1981. Xile's ability to provide a unique and constantly
evolving brand mix, works in combination with the company's loyalty
to catering for the more classic customer. Xile is proud to offer
even the most traditional of customer that unique and funky 'twist'.
After adding ladies wear to the company's belt in 1994, what Xile
offers today's customer sets it above and beyond others on the high
street. Now operating through four distinct stores, Xile Clothing
provides an eclectic mix of brands which is further complimented

This store features a large variety of casual
and classic mens fashion. The collections include established labels
such as Diesel, Replay, Lyle & Scott, Paul & Shark, One True
Saxon, Duffer and Paul Smith. Xile Casualwear provides classic mens
fashion while simultaneously evolving with the ever-changing trends
of the fashion world. This stores’ mix of brands, including
its loyalty to the 'classics', is highly successful in providing
something for every man.
Xile Ladies offers a distinctive range of
brands including Diesel, G-Star, Fornarina, Nolita and True Religion
Jeans. With ever changing jewellery and accessories you will never
struggle to find something truly fabulous for every occasion.
Our denim concept store focuses on the best denim
and casual wear from G-Star, Diesel, Replay and Energie. Mixed with top
sports fashion such as Adidas Originals, Nike and Hummel, this store offers
an easy and pleasurable shopping experience. Free parking and over 100
shops, bars and restaurants, make Ocean Terminal the number one out of
town shopping centre.
Still based in Edinburgh, we now trade as both an e-store
and shop under one enterprise. The recent launch of xileclothing.com was long
overdue, and with over 15 years retail experience we hope to maintain the same
values that have made the shops so successful.
